Job Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for our clients’ computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to help clients troubleshoot and resolve their IT issues.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components for computer systems and networks
Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems, including software patches, antivirus updates, and system backups
Respond to technical support requests from clients and provide timely resolution to issues
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client equipment, configurations, and software licenses
Provide end-user training and support on computer hardware and software applications
Collaborate with team members and management to implement and support IT projects and initiatives
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to computer systems and networks
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support and maintenance, preferably in a field technician role.
Strong technical skills in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and hardware troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site client visits
