This has been resolved!Hello,
Currently, a global block of cPanel servers are blocking logins for WHM, cPanel and Webmail over an authentication vulnerability. cPanel has released a patch and systems are being updated now. They will not lift the block until all services are confirmed patched/fixed.Critical Authentication Vulnerability on cPanel/WHM
An update has been posted
The cPanel patch remains deployed across eligible systems, and network-level firewall restrictions for cPanel, WHM, webmail, and web disk ports are still in place at this time.
The cPanel team is reconvening this morning to review overall progress, evaluate any remaining update exceptions, and determine the appropriate timing for safely removing these access restrictions.
We will provide additional updates as soon as more information becomes available.
We appreciate your continued patience as we work toward restoring full access. If you have any issues in the meantime, please contact our support team for assistance.Time posted

Once the patch is successfully applied, we will take the following actions:
Remove the network-level firewall blocks:
cPanel: 2082 / 2083
WHM: 2086 / 2087
Webmail: 2095 / 2096
Web Disk: 2077 / 2078

Apr 28, 2026 - 17:57 EDTUpdate - cPanel has disclosed that the additional cPanel-provided services Webmail and Web Disk are impacted by this vulnerability.
Out of an abundance of caution, and based on cPanel’s current recommendation, we are implementing temporary protective changes on servers hosted on our network.
Temporary changes being implemented:
-Blocking access to ports related to cPanel services:
WHM: 2082 / 2083
cPanel: 2086 / 2087
Webmail: 2096 / 2097
Web Disk: 2077 / 2078
-Temporarily disabling cpsrvd, which is the web wrapper for cPanel web services. As a result, cPanel, WHM, Webmail, Web Disk, and related cPanel services will be inaccessible, including over Cloud VPN connections.
These changes do not impact websites, email delivery, databases, or Apache functionality.
Customers who normally access email through Webmail can still access email by using a mail client.
These temporary restrictions will be reverted as soon as cPanel releases a patch addressing the critical vulnerabilities.

Hello,
We are working on an outage that just occurred on one of our cPanel web hosting servers. The CS30.customermsp.com server.
Please stay tuned for updates while we urgently look at this issue.
Thank you
UPDATE: 10:16 EST
The problem has been located by the NOC and a fix is being worked on. Due to the complexity of the issue it will take time to restore all affected services. This is affecting about 30% of our web hosting clients and only those on the CS30 server. All others remain online.
UPDATE: 11:15 EST
The problem has been linked to power damage to the RAID card on the CS30 server. The NOC is replacing the card now so we can start the raid rebuild/restore process.
UPDATE: 1:19 PM
All hardware has been replaced and the restore process has been running for over an hour. Since the entire volume had to be rebuilt the restore all of the accounts are being restored from the backups. This process will likely take several more hours.
UPDATE: 3:21 PM
We are at 60.25% of restoring the files from the backups to the rebuilt volume. Since there are many small and big websites being restored its not possible to give an exact ETA as it changes per account.
UPDATE: 4:51 PM
We are at 81.61% of restoring the files from the backups to the rebuilt volume. Since there are many small and big websites being restored its not possible to give an exact ETA as it changes per account.
UPDATE:6:51 PM
We are at 94.23% of restoring the files from the backups to the rebuilt volume.
UPDATE:7:21 PM
The CS30 server has been restored and back online!
Thank you
